Ouroborus Mandala at Naming Rights 2016

Ouroborus Mandala at Naming Rights 2016

A production based artwork in the gallery Naming Rights. The work was installed over a period of 93 days but open for only two. A large clay milling machine stood in the centre of the gallery. It is feeds a clay extrusion onto a conveyer belt that is carried around the gallery and fed back into top of the machine. An endless rhythm of consumption and regurgitation. The clay is available for public interaction and objects were produced. At the end of the project all the clay is re-pugged and bagged as per its original form.
